While in Waskaganish you will undoubtedly want to see some of the local sites of interest.

You could speak to the Waskaganish First Nation Cultural Coordinator and arrange a special viewing of the historical items collected by the Cree Cultural Institute. Or you could walk up the street to the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, and even try and get a peek inside the storied John Blackned house, the oldest building in Waskaganish.

You may even ask for a trip to see firsthand places of significance out on the land.
